My moms say I was “surrendered” just after Christmas as an 8-year-old gift. Now I get to be out of my crate all day (and all night) to explore gardening, morning hikes, and RV camping. And no more diapers! Apparently I had a UTI and needed more outdoor time. We even went cabining in the coldest days of winter. In spring I mostly enjoy laying in the sunshine and chasing the squirrels in the maple trees. I inspired my neighbors to get a golden puppy for his big collie brother, Murphy. This lets me be a foster mom for the pup while I teach him golden manners and retrieving. I love having a Happy Tails active retirement!

Please note: GRRIN does not guarantee the availability of any foster dogs. We have several approved families that may already be considered for adoption.
