Adoption Process

Meet young Captain, who is a fun, 1½ year old male pup.  When you hear him coming, better step aside! He wants your hand on him all the time, including wanting to be in bed with you.  He’ll sprawl on your floor or couch with appendages sticking out all over and nap until he’s ready for the next go around.  He loves taking every toy out of the box. He loves chewing on Nylabones and real bones.  There is no sign of aggression and no sign of chasing, so he may do well with cats.  He is fully potty trained and sleeps all night on a pad or on the floor.  He is quite thin, so he is fed three times a day.  He is not real comfortable with riding in the car and going up stairs, but he is working on those skills, along with walking on a leash.
