We’d like to introduce you to Arlo, a Golden-Poodle mix that is currently in foster care!
Arlo’s bio from his foster mom:
HELLO…I’d like to introduce myself to you….I am a very good looking 3-year old male Golden Doodle, who would like to find my permanent furever home.
Ideally, I’m looking for a family who is experienced in dog behavior and who is active and would really enjoy doing activities with me: walk in the neighborhood; go to the park; take long car rides. I know my commands and I walk pretty well on a leash (until I see a critter running around). I don’t jump up on people but; sometimes, I bark a lot (I’m working on that behavior). I really enjoy being around people and cuddling next to them while getting lots of pets. If I forget and jump up on the furniture, I will immediately get down when told to do so.
I don’t mind going in the kennel at night, but I really like it when I can jump up on the bed and sleep with my humans. I’m good around other dogs, but I really don’t like to engage in dog play and playing with toys. You might say I am “Top Dog” when it comes to playing with toys: I always want to be the one to get the toy! Come and meet me and see for yourself what a sweet, awesome Golden Doodle I am.
If you are interested in learning more about Arlo and his availability, please send an email to info@grrin.org. To be considered for adoption, you will need to complete an interview and home visit. You must have a fenced yard. To get started, call 402-330-6680 and leave a voicemail; a volunteer will return your call. More about our adoption process.
