Thank you for submitting your photos for the 2025 GRRIN calendar. Make sure to attend Gold Rush on September 22 at Sumtur Amphitheater where they will be available for purchase!
We need your photos! We extended the deadline so you have a few more weekends to get that perfect shot of your dog for the GRRIN calendar – send them in by July 1st using the form below.
It’s time to send us your photos! GRRIN’s calendar committee is putting together another fabulous calendar for 2025 and they will need to choose from your photos. Calendars will be available for purchase at GRRIN’s Gold Rush celebration on October 1st.
Guidelines for Submission
Who is eligible?
Anyone who has adopted a GRRIN dog or is a friend of GRRIN with a Golden is eligible to submit a photograph. However, GRRIN dogs will have priority in the selection process. There is a limit of TWO (2) photos submitted per family, but should your photo be selected, only one will be used in the Calendar. More than one dog can be in your submitted photos but Goldens or Golden Mixes only please!
What is the deadline for submission of photos?
June 1, 2024 – EXTENDED to July 1, 2024
Will I get the photo returned to me after the selections are made?
ALL photos submitted become the property of Golden Retriever Rescue in Nebraska. Make sure you create a copy before sending.
How can I submit my photos?
Use the following form (see below) to submit the completed Entry Form/Release Form, your digital photos and 50-word story, OR mail the photos and Calendar Photograph Entry Form/Release Form to: GRRIN at PO Box 126, Boys Town, NE 68010, ATTN: Calendars. If you have any issues with your submission, email calendar@grrin.org and we will help you get it done.
What are the requirements for the photos?
- Photos should be in color and in landscape orientation (digital phone pictures are usually good enough resolution for our purposes). Avoid using the zoom function on your phone or camera when taking the photos – this affects the resolution! Some of the best photos submitted in the past have been closeups of the dog’s face or close enough to just see their entire body. Photos taken at a distance are difficult or impossible to print clearly.
- Please include the dog’s GRRIN # if applicable.
- We need a 50-word story about the dog and how he or she became part of your family. If your dog is chosen to be in the calendar, we reserve the right to edit the stories for length and style.
- Please do not have any people in the photo. We will make an exception if the photo is with Santa Claus.
Please contact us at calendar@grrin.org if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing the photos of your awesome dogs!
