My name is Cody, and I’m 5 years old. My former mom was disabled and had to give me up. I miss her, but the good folks at GRRIN took me in and made me feel right at home. I got to spend time in two different foster-homes while I refined some social-skills. Both people and dogs taught me a lot, and it wasn’t long before I met Bill and Nicole. They had recently lost George, a beloved GRRIN dog, to some neurological problems. They wanted to again adopt a rescue-dog, and the GRRIN adoption coordinator matched us up. We all hit it off right away. I met their resident dog Chloe, and our first “date” consisted of backyard chases. She ROCKS! Even their cats were cool! Everyone knew that this was the right place for me to set up my forever-dogbed, so I said goodbye to my foster-home and settled right in. I’ve been told that it’s like I’ve been here for years.
