Hi! I’m Trudy and you never saw me on the “Available Dogs” page because, thanks to GRRIN, I went straight to my forever home. I was found as a stray and surrendered because I’m completely blind and have special needs. I’m not always sure about meeting other dogs but I love every human I meet. The Nebraska Humane Society and a great guy named Chet helped take care of me before I was adopted through GRRIN. When I met my forever family they knew I was supposed to be their dog. And guess what? They already have a blind cat, Sunshine, so they know how to take care of me. Renata and Laurel have taught me how to get around their home (even the stairs, but they put up a baby gate at night) and they don’t mind that I stay near them all the time! Nobody knows for certain how old I am – they’re guessing six or seven years – but I’m glad I still have a long time to live in my safe home with such a loving family.
