I’m Alvin and I am happy to announce that I’ve had a great second chance in life. My first owner was sad to let me go but I had to live outdoors and he knew that wasn’t best for me so he sent me to GRRIN. I loved my foster mom Cathi, and playing with all of her resident dogs. At GRRIN events I was a hit and everyone thought I would be the perfect dog, especially Christina and her kiddos (my new playmates) who immediately knew I was supposed to be their forever family member. My new mom says I’m doing great and I’m such a sweetheart (sounds good to me!). I carry my stuffed toys all over the house and like to play outside in the snow or survey the yard from the new deck. I have another dog friend to play with and the cat has learned that I’m a nice guy and will hide behind me when the other dog wants to play (seriously, everyone knows cats don’t play with dogs). During the day I go for walks on the bike path and at night I get a big hug and kiss. My mom thinks I was always meant to be a part of their family and I agree!
