Just a quick word to let everyone know how I am doing….AWESOME! I settled in to my new home with my mom and two boys several weeks ago and have been loving every minute of it. I have free run of the house when my family is home and when they go to work and school. I miss the boys while they are at school, but as soon as they come home it is non-stop action for me. My boys love to play ball, tug of war and take me for walks. But the best time is when they snuggle on the couch with me and watch a movie. I have discovered that my new movie room in the basement is so much fun. Not only is it sound proof for those really scary thunderstorms I hate, but when my family goes down to watch a movie they make popcorn! I LOVE POPCORN!! My mom says I am the most well behaved dog and she is getting me ready to take my CGC certification and maybe training as a therapy dog. I have really been working hard at learning to walk nice on a leash, which is my only issue. My mom also discovered that I love a kong toy filled with treats. At first I had no idea what it was, but after about 10 minutes of checking it out I was hooked. I love my new home and want to thank the really nice humans at GRRIN for helping me adopt such a great new family. Thanks a bunch to Judy, Dick and Brody for letting me stay at their place while I checked this new family out and made sure that they were a good match for me. Hope to see everyone soon at a GRRIN event.
