Evie came home the day before her 5th birthday! She had been set up for success with her foster mama, who had worked so well with her.
Evie had come from a breeding situation, she had not lived in a home. She was nervous and timid and didn’t have any confidence. She would belly crawl through the house. She and our resident golden became fast friends. Evie became Gracie’s shadow and mimicked all Gracie’s behaviors. It was so important for Evie to have a resident dog to learn from.
Fast forward a year later and Evie is confident and she has a very sweet and funny personality. She has come so far and we are so proud of her. People tell us how lucky Evie is but we think we are the lucky ones! Thank you GRRIN for all you do!
