Benny is a senior, 8-year old gentleman. He arrived to GRRIN with untreated allergies that resulted in some skin infections and wounds. Not to fear, this well behaved boy takes his daily meds like a champ with no issues. Though his skin issues are almost entirely resolved, Benny’s new family will likely need to be conscious of his skin sensitivities. Benny gets along great with cats, dogs, and small children. He walks well on a leash but does pull when excited, something his foster family is working on.
Don’t let his age fool you, Benny is an active guy who loves to play fetch, run with the kids, and wrestle with his foster dog sibling in the backyard. If there’s no ball to be thrown, he’s happy to lay at your feet and snuggle up. He does have a love of food that rivals a professional eater, thus leading him to counter surf for all the goodies if left unattended. However, he is easily redirected and responds well to commands. Benny is a wonderful dog who would make the perfect addition to a family.
