From Pets in Omaha:

One of the largest annual pet events, Pets in Omaha’s Pick a Pooch Adoption Days and Pet Expo, is back for 2019!

Are you thinking about adopting a dog or cat from a local shelter or rescue group? Are you interested in meeting the great people who run our wonderful, adoption-driven humane organizations? How about just a fun event to attend, meet fellow animals lovers and maybe even win some great prizes?

Then you should attend Pets in Omaha’s Pick a Pooch (and kitties, too!) Adoption Day Event!

Meet over 100 vendors sharing all kinds of products and information, plus over 20 shelter and rescue organizations with adoptable animals!

Local shelters and rescue groups will be in attendance with adoptable animals, some of our Pet Partners will be there for you to meet and there will be many great activities and giveaways.
There will be demonstrations, raffles, and many thing for you to enjoy! You may bring your well-behaved dogs on a non-retractable leash. This event is FREE to the public thanks to our sponsors.

Please note, GRRIN will NOT be allowing any adoptions of our foster dogs at this event. While some rescues may offer that option, we plan to have available foster dogs present only to meet and greet the public.
