Meet Bogie

He was diagnosed with (suspected) fibrocartilaginous embolism (FCE) on an MRI of his lumbar spine and spent four months at Iowa State University for medical observation and rehabilitation therapy. The condition left him with severely weakened hind legs and the inability to empty his own bladder, so his original owner could no longer care for him. ISU reached out to GRRIN for help and Bogie entered foster care in April of 2015. The alternative was euthanasia as no other rescue would take him.
