Hello there, remember me – Paddington?!?
After being in a foster home twice with a super lady, Cathi, and her Irish Setters, I finally found my FUR-EVER HOME!!! It really is a small world, Cathi works with my new Mom, Kris, and so she introduced me to Kris and her Golden, Boston, at a GRRIN Meet-and-Greet to see how we’d all get along. I was on my best behavior and she loved me right away! Boston is a really big Golden and he and I liked each other right from the start! I then went to meet the rest of her family, her husband Doug and their 12 year old son, Ryan, at their house where I got to run through the house and the backyard with Boston. We got along really well and the next thing I knew, I was moving in with them!
I get the run of the house during the day while my new Mom and Dad are at work and I think that is pretty cool! Boston and I love to run and play in the backyard, and Mom got us a wading pool but neither of us are too sure about it yet! It makes for a nice, big drinking bowl though! Dad and Ryan play ball with me and they are amazed how high I can jump as I’m trying to catch the ball! Mom gives us special treats before bedtime each night! It’s my favorite time of the day!
I get to go on nice walks in the neighborhood and even got to attend one of Ryan’s baseball games! I’m not very good at sitting still, there are way too many people to meet and new sniffs to find, so I don’t understand why we have to sit in one place for that long?
As they say, the ‘third time’s a charm’! I finally found my Fur-ever home and love my new family as much as they love me! Life is good!
