For the last 10 months, my life has been in a whirlwind. In March it was decided that I might be happier living in another furever home. A very nice GRRIN volunteer came to pick me up and he took me to the very best foster home. My foster mom and dad were terrific: they were friendly and made me feel comfortable, safe and happy. My foster fur-buddy followed me all around and would always lay right next to me.

Because of the pandemic, I didn’t start meeting new families to find my new fur-ever home until late summer. A family came to meet me and immediately they thought I was a very cute, playful, sweet, and loveable senior Golden. We ran in the yard, played ball, went for a walk, and just relaxed while they all petted me…it was so much fun. We all met two more times and then it happened…they said they wanted me to join their family.

On November 14, I officially was adopted and found my furever home. My human brother and sister totally adore me and, like most Goldens, I velcro myself to everyone so I don’t lose them. I love playing in my yard, going for walks, and relaxing with my family. I never thought I would feel so safe, happy, and loved as I do now in my new furever home which certainly has helped me with my separation anxiety. I am so thankful to everyone who cared for me and made sure I would find my perfect furever home.  My wish for 2021 is to enjoy my new home and family as long as I can, and that I have the opportunity to meet all of you.
