My mom, Clover, and I (Copper), are just in AMAZEMENT we found our PERFECT FUR-EVER home. It is totally awesome! We have this HUGE backyard with lots of bushes, trees, and flowers that we sniff all around to see what type of critters have been there – it’s usually bunnies. And we have grandkids who get excited to come and visit and play with us. We do have a fur-cat sister…she is still deciding if she likes us. Sometimes mom/Clover does her “growl” noise thing, but everyone is getting used to it (you know how moms are). But, what makes us … Continue reading

Lola has been adopted! This petite, cutie-patootie has been in GRRIN for a few weeks and is available for adoption. We have several approved families hoping to meet her, so we do not guarantee her availability if you contact GRRIN about adoption. Foster story is on its way!
HENRY HERE WITH HIS NEW FAMILY…..I have been on the move since I came into GRRIN, but I’m happy to say, that I have landed in my fur-ever home. My new family is exactly what I was hoping for: a great fur-brother, Doc, who loves to play with me, run around in the backyard, and play tug-of-war with our large assortment of toys. Doc is not afraid to let me know when he wants some quiet time for himself. There are two cats in my new family and they’re not really sure yet if they like me, but I’m sure they will come around soon. … Continue reading
Update for Carly: She’s been adopted! Stay tuned for her “furever” story. Looking at this picture one might ask what this dog is thinking. Is she asking to play fetch? She might be asking if you would be her friend. Of course, she also might simply be asking if you would sit down and give her some love. These are a few things that this beautiful dog is noted for wanting. This eight-year-old golden retriever would like to tell you a little more about her life. There is much to tell. HI! My name is Carly. My life has been … Continue reading
DIEGO has great news…. OOPS, I mean RINGO has great news. I found my fur-ever home AND I have a new name: RINGO. My new family changed my name to RINGO because I reminded them of the “FAB FOUR”: long, floppy, moppy, hair. I have been so busy since being with my new family: I met the neighbor’s two labs and we run back and forth along the fence line (we became instant fur-buddies); we go for daily walks, and one day, we took a hike (with my new frisbie) in the newly fresh snow where there were so many new scents. There was a … Continue reading
Skye is a shy girl who was recently adopted after entering GRRIN in December. Stay tuned for pictures and her adoption story!
Neptune update! We have new pictures of Neptune in her adopted home. She has made herself the mascot of her neighborhood – everyone finds joy in seeing her out and about. Hello, from Neptune! Nope, not the planet, but from my brand new furever home here in Omaha, Nebraska! I was adopted in July by my sweet mom, Jan and since I arrived, it’s been non-stop visiting with all the people in my building, and lots of new friends who’ve been over to meet me. My mom lost her best friend, Buddy (GRRIN 18-10) in March and she was very … Continue reading
My name is Leo. I made myself at home the minute that I set foot in my new home. I explored all the rooms in search of what I could run off with. What fun I had! I am so happy! I have been told that I am smart. I know my basic commands, but I have trouble focusing on what my parents ask of me. I start class soon to learn how to do that. I hope it is fun! I love going on daily walks. I walk on the leash well now. I spend as much time as … Continue reading
Hi, it’s me Rocky!! First off, I have to say I’m so thankful for GRRIN! Although I am a Labrador Retriever, GRRIN agreed to accept me and then gave me the best family I could have ever asked for. My new family even let me sleep in their bed! I know this can be frowned upon but I don’t mind snuggling my humans every night ❤️ It’s been over a year now since I’ve been welcomed into this loving home. I have an older brother, Briggs, who is a Golden Retriever. He was the favorite and didn’t want to share his love with … Continue reading
Hello everyone. My name is Lily and I’m living the good life now that I’ve found my fur-ever home. In the beginning I was a little hesitant and shy about everything. You see, before coming to GRRIN and being adopted by my new mom and dad, I had no idea that dogs could live inside where it’s warm and cozy. I didn’t understand that there are people who want to pet and snuggle a dog like me. My new mom and dad have given me so many wonderful things that I didn’t know existed, like going for walks, playing with toys, and even getting treats. … Continue reading
Hi! It’s me Jack (previously Herky)! I went home with my mom, dad, and dog sister Ruby in September 2021. I’m a pretty goofy guy. Whenever my parents get home from work I like to find a toy and run through the house and howl to welcome them home. I also make them laugh with all the silly faces I make. My lips often get stuck on my teeth and it looks like I’m smiling. My parents know that I’m very smart. When I first moved in I showed them that I know how to open the kitchen trash can … Continue reading
Hi, my name is Max. When I came into my foster home, I was a little scared and was having some seizures. My foster mom got me on a regular routine of anti-seizure meds and love. Since coming into my forever home, no seizures! I have became bonded with the resident golden puppy Bailey and now we love to rough-house together. I am more confident in my surroundings and love to lay on the big dog cushion in the tv room and sleep next to mom. I know my basic commands, like come, outside, sit, shake, and, of course, biscuit time. I initially was having trouble … Continue reading
Hello. My name is Athena and I want to tell everyone how lucky I am. When I came to GRRIN I had to have a very expensive surgery before I could be adopted. GRRIN took great care of me so that I could find my fur-ever home. I’m so happy to tell you that I have found the best home ever. My new family opened their hearts and their home to me despite some physical problems that I was still overcoming. One of my favorite parts about my new family is that they have another golden retriever the same age that I am. The … Continue reading
Remember me – Emma Grace, the very cute, but very shy little Golden. I’m not sure why it takes me a while to warm up to people, especially men, but once I get to know you, I will be your very best buddy in the whole world. Well, that is just what happened when I went to meet my new family for the very first time. It took me about 30 minutes before I figured out…this family is really awesome. Everyone was very patient and gentle with me, even Maggie, their three-year-old flat coated retriever. After that, I just became a … Continue reading
Hello everyone! My name is Wally and I am an 7 year old golden doodle! I was recently adopted by my foster parents, Robin and Jim. I had my 7th birthday two days after entering their home as a foster dog, and boy did they celebrate ME! I decided right then and there that this was going to be a great home for me! I am so glad that they agreed! I just love to sit on my dad, Jim’s lap….I think I am a lap dog – even though I weigh 65 pounds! I enjoy a good game of … Continue reading

Hi everyone! My name used to be Pope, but my new Dad changed it to Oso. Oso means Bear. He thinks that I look like a big bear; I am a big white fella. He loves to give me big bear hugs!! One of my favorite things to do is to roll over so Dad can give me belly rubs. Oh, how I love those rubs! I am also a great kisser; if you get your face close to me, I will give you a great big kiss. Besides kisses, I will sit on your foot. Feel special if I … Continue reading
F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S…that’s me…Fabulous Moses. When I went to my GRRIN foster home, my foster mom said that I was just FABULOUS. I did have to work on my leash walking skills because I pulled really hard. After changing my collar to a prong collar, I now walk like I’m in a national dog show…perfect. I really liked staying at my foster home: I had a fur-buddy to play with and lots and lots of toys…the whole family really liked me and they took really good care of me. My previous family really loved me and my fur-brother: we had a great … Continue reading
The Dynamic Duo, Reese and Ripkin, here to say HELLO. We have been together for two and half plus years…ever since Reese was just a pup. We are very close and Reese looks up to me for being her big brother who will always be here for her. We had a great life with our family. But, uncontrollable circumstances happened to our family, and the decision was made that it would be best for us if we went to live with another family. A very nice person from GRRIN came to pick us up and we went to our foster … Continue reading

Hi! My name is Luna and I’m a 19-month-old Golden Retriever-St. Bernard mix! In December, I went to my forever home with Todd (my dad) and his three kids. I’m a very energetic, playful pup with a lot of love to give…sometimes too much love (I like to lick!). I always prefer to be with my family and am more than willing to go on car rides, walks, and anywhere that they go! When they do have to leave me, I like to spend time with my fur buddy, Loaf. Sometimes I forget that Loaf is a cat and he’s … Continue reading
I have a terrific story to tell you about me. My name is Briley and people say I am the sweetest, senior Golden. I lived with my previous family almost my entire life. We went for walks, car rides, and played in the yard; I loved living with my dad and mom and they dearly loved me. Somehow, I injured my leg and was having trouble walking. GRRIN was notified and the decision was made for me to leave my family and go live with a foster family. GRRIN took me to a specialized vet and my leg diagnosis was … Continue reading
